These words reached us via WhatsApp shortly after the final whistle of the match against Segerea FC from happy zebras from Tanzania. The good performance of the first match against Kisa FC (1:1) was confirmed with a 1:2 victory.
In the 30th minute, Edwin Komba gave the TanZebras the lead with a strong header. Unfortunately, the lead only lasted until the 42nd minute, as our opponents were awarded a penalty which led to a half-time score of 1-1.
In the second half, the TanZebras were able to build up a lot of pressure and had the game completely under control.
In the 60th minute, the strongly playing Eddie Weche, who also scored a goal in the TanZebras’ first game, was able to put the TanZebras in the lead!
1:2 for the TanZebras!
This was also the final score and the joy about the first victory of the season was huge!

The TanZebras win their first match in the third division and have started the season well. We also received a remarkable statement: “Today our coach “Doudy” was the weapon!” Something is growing together! Keep it up!
