The catch-up game against Dar Star FC could finally be played. Since the referees did not appear punctually at the first attempt, the association adjourned our game without further ado.
Now the time had come and our team hoped for an important victory. Especially since Dar Star already had their backs to the wall, at least one point was obligatory for both teams. This goal resulted in a hard-fought game, which was mostly played in midfield. Chances were scarce on both sides.
Even after the half-time break, no team was able to position itself dangerously enough to score a goal. Our captain Franco, who had set his sights high before the game, was virtually devastated and difficult to encourage.
With the descent, however, our boys should have nothing more to do, which can already be considered a great success.
With the catch-up game the TanZebras are now in the secured midfield of the table.
Next opponent will be FC Karume Market, before it goes to the table leader Airwing.
